Not satisfied with already dropping his ‘Pyro’ album back in March, Particle returns to Critical with another pair of expertly crafted tracks from two very different sides of the sonic spectrum.
After debuting on the main stage at Boomtown, ‘Shunt’ is stripped-back, minimal D&B at its very best; showcasing Particle’s knack for carving enormous tracks from the simplest of basslines and the most spacious of drum grooves.
‘W4M’ – in collaboration with Austrian producer Wingz – refreshes with something totally different; layering soulful detuned chords and re-pitched vocals over deliciously clean drums and subs for a blissful roller to help soothe those early winter blues.
