Another month and yet another heavyweight release from the Critical Music powerhouse, this time a mixed up limited release from some very special artists indeed. Digging in the Critical crates, label boss Kasra has enlisted the help of two new wave makers to re-work a couple of classics from the vaults. The results impeccable as always and ultra obscene!
First up Foreign Concept swoops in to offer his take on Spectrasoul’s computer future Organiser. Keeping the robo-vox, Foreign Concept builds some hefty half-time breaks around the vicious undulating b-line that works its way deep into the mix with twists and chopped up fx at every turn. Does serious damage when stepped to so beware!
Critical’s newest arrival to the fold ,Emperor, then turns on his controls and flips in one hell of a crunching remix of Enei‘s ‘Once Chance’. Industrial pads, echoed vocals and sirens make way for a rolling break intertwined with some gnarly tech-bass and a smattering of crispy percussion. Watch for the intricate edits, Emperor will have you begging for more by the end of it. A mighty showing from a future talent not to be reckoned with.
