Amoss continues his recent red-hot run of form with a fully solo four-track EP for Critical Music, exploring a wide stylistic range within his own funk-soaked sound.

‘Ghost Signals’ opens the show with a hardcore-rave-reflecting stormer, packed with old-school Reese basses, mentasms, spin-back samples and moody pads for a very 2026 take on 1992.

‘HLM’ strips it all back, bringing a minimalist slice of shuffling, twisted dancefloor funk for those with a “High Level Mindset”, before things move into more liquid spaces on ‘The Same’, with vocalist Lissa Grace offering classic 90s RnB moods over layered drum breaks and super-low sub work.

‘Twitch’ flips the mood once more, shutting things down in style with a slab of pleasantly obnoxious, stomping jump-up, scattered with all the necessary fizzing distortion and satisfyingly weird snatches of sound.
