2019 saw south Londoner Particle break through the ranks with his first release for Critical’s Binary series. With early jungle, techno and breakbeat roots, Particle’s brand of D&B has seen plenty of support from the majors such as Andy C, Randall and Kasra.
Throughout his career, Particle has collaborated with other prominent artists in the drum and bass scene, contributing to a diverse range of projects. Known for his skill in producing remixes for various artists, he has continued to infuse tracks with his distinctive style and by adding his signature touch to their music, gained further recognition in the scene.
Fast forward to now and we’ve seen him cross the globe on international tours to New Zealand and release his largely anticipated debut album ‘Pyro‘ featuring the likes of Inja, Javeon, En:vy and YAANO.
“I’d be lying if I said the album was telling a story because it’s not. I’ve always had a very minimal and ‘less is more’ approach to my music; the album’s an exploration of all my styles, with this approach being the glue which sonically ties it together. I guess the story is just me.” – Particle, UKF
Watch out, a lot more to come…
